Transforming Business Challenges into Digital Solutions. Final-year Business Information Technology student building AI-driven, data-informed products.

Business logic, written in code.

I'm a final-year Business and Information Technology student at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, where I've learned to treat software as a business instrument first and a technical exercise second — the code only matters if it moves a real decision.

My work sits at the join between business analysis and applied engineering: reading a process until I can see where it breaks, then building the system that fixes it. That's taken me through systems analysis, data analytics, full-stack development, and machine learning — not as separate specialties, but as one continuous skill of turning ambiguity into something that ships.

Right now I'm focused on AI-driven and data-informed products, most recently an end-to-end deployment of a machine learning diagnostic tool, and I'm looking for the next hard problem worth solving.

Skin Care Connect

Skin Care Connect is a web application that lets a user upload a photo of a skin lesion and receive a machine-learning classification across common lesion categories, built to explore how accessible AI could support — not replace — early skin health awareness in under-resourced settings.

The problem

Dermatology expertise is scarce and unevenly distributed across Kenya, and many people never get a second opinion on a changing mole or lesion until it's a serious concern. The project set out to test whether a lightweight, deployable classifier could offer a useful first signal.
